Our Story

Founded in Burgersfort, Praktiseer by Phoenix SA (Thobejane Thabiso), Spirithouse Vortex Records emerged from the vibrant music culture of Limpopo. Born in Brits on March 30, 1999, Phoenix grew up immersed in the diverse sounds of South Africa's underground scene.

With over 50 releases, we've become a hub for authentic African electronic music, showcasing genres like Afrohouse, Afrotech, Amapiano, Deephouse, Lekompo, and Hip Hop.
